Thai Little Home
Opened in 1973 after coming to America for a better opportunity. We were one
of three of the first Thai restaurants in the city of Chicago. We started with
only six tables at a place nearby the intersection of Kedzie and Lawrence. We
soon established a great reputation, which then led to customers standing
outside in the rain in order to dine at Thai Little Home Cafe. A little over ten
years later they were able to purchase a double storefront located at 4747 N.
Kedzie in Northwest Chicago.
Most of the Thai dishes served at TLH are authentic thai dishes and some of
them are customized to fit american tastes and after multiple years of having a
successful business we decided it was time to retire and to let the family go
their own way. Thereby in mid-2006 we decided to close. But as soon as word
got around about our closing, we had customer after customer ask us to
reopen. So a year later we relocated and had our grand opening in April 2007.
The place was packed at our new location throughout opening weekend. We
really appreciate all our loyal customers frequenting our restaurant at our
new location.
Thank you,
Thai Little Home family
